New knee is larger than the other, anyone else have this?

Had total knee replacement 6 months ago.
New knee is huge compared to good knee. Is that normal ?

I’m 3 months out. Swelling now occurs only after PT and longer periods of use. When it isn’t swollen, it’s still bigger than my other knee. It won’t fit it into my regular pants - very frustrating. Had to buy sweatpants that are too large for me so I have something that my surgery knee fits into. Really hoping this knee will not remain this big.

I have one leg that swells.
Swelling increases when leg is used. I was diagnosed years ago with one leg slightly longer than the other. So, I wear a professional insert at the heal of the shoe. It’s about 1/8" well made, it keeps my heal from hitting the ground too hard and my knee doesn't hurt so much. Over the years I have had a podiatrist make me shoe inserts and one made me lifetime inserts for my business shoes...they made noises while walking and both were expensive the hard and soft inserts had made to be on cement all day they were my favorite. The podiatrist took molds of feet and aligned my arch. He took a mold of my feet and made me inserts for my tennis shoes. I had to start wearing 1/2 larger but it was well worth the time and money spent. I felt so great when I wore them. Something to think about.

My knee has the swelling too. The swelling should continue to reduce as the healing progresses. It will take a full year or so, for all to heal.
I know it is frustrating 😤, I am right there with you.
Pray 🙏 over it and through it.

With my right knee replacement I didn't experience anything out of the ordinary as explained to me by the doctor and within 6 months I would ice periodically as swelling would occur if walking/standing more than usual. I'm 22 months post replacement of my left knee and it has been a totally different experience with my leg being longer than the other causing some discomfort with my hip on occasion. I'd developed drop foot as a result of the peroneal nerve being compressed during surgery & this has been a major ordeal to recover from & I don't know that I will ever be totally recovered. My knee is constantly swelling with any type of activity & tightens up on me pretty badly when I stand for any period of time. I keep moving as much as possible though as I do feel I have more fluid movement with walking/movement. I'm not sure if swelling is what you're meaning about your knee being huge or not so not sure my input will be helpful.

It has been 15 months since TKR and it has been swollen like this since day one.And I am getting tired of hearing " It will be better after 6 months", and then "it sometimes takes a year", and now they say "it sometimes takes two years)/ Why do they keep on "Kicking the can on down the road"? I have not yet heard a reasonable explanation as to why I am experiencing more pain than before surgery and swelling and pain has notdiminished one bit. I am 6'1" and at 195 pounds went into this in very good physical shape as an athlete who does downhill skiing, rides a bike to the gym, works out diligently, and walks regularly. I am still in the same physical shape except for a problematic knee.

I had both my knees done seven months ago and I wouldn’t think that much swelling at this time would be considered normal. I’ve been told it takes a complete year to heal from a knee replacement. My swelling diminished fairly quickly after six weeks and now what I find is I experience stiffness when I don’t move or if I lay down too long. My legs feel much better if I make sure I walk at least 5km+ a day.
I regularly elevated and iced my both knees, three times a day for the first three months so I found that helped. I would definitely be investigating the cause of so much swelling at this stage of the game. But I wouldn’t be surprised if they told you you have to wait at least a year before they can determine if anything is a concern.
