My post Covid is mostly fatigue, muscle and joint pains and shortness of breath. I am much better but it has taken over a year to get to this point. If I overdo or not get enough sleep I have a few bad days afterwards.. My pulmonologist says that my pulmonary function test result is copd.. yet I have days where I have no breathing problems.. and I can walk an hour on a treadmill with no breathing problems.. he wants to put me on a twice daily inhaler which so far I am refusing.. i find my breathing issues are mostly heat and humidity related .. does anyone else have the same issues??? Since developing post Covid I have become heat intolerant.

When I went to a "long covid clinic" in 2021 it was recommended I take a pulmonary function test. I didn't take it that day because of time considerations. I finally took it last year at my primary care physician's clinic. I have had a history of asthma but had very little problem with it since I moved over 30 years ago. The test results said I had COPD. My doctor also tried to get me to use an inhaler which had a bronchodilator and steroid combined. I was to use it twice a day. Since I don't really have a problem with shortness of breath, there was no way I was going to put that stuff in my lungs. I am very active taking care of 33 acres. I too developed heat intolerance since having covid. I make sure I keep hydrated and take breaks when working out in the Texas heat.
