Yes! R-ALA and aceytl-l-carnitine was one of the first supplements I used...and I still do. I take PEA. I've also started using boswellia and turmeric. I take naproxen for the pain..3 a day. I'm not going to take gabapentin or the other drugs most doctors recommend. The podiatrist said there was a compounded cream she could prescribe. She said it was expensive and I don't think insurance covers it. I might try that.

I tried Gabapentin and it made me swell. Not a pleasant experience.

@suzva I had plantar release and it didn't work. I have done everything from Physical Therapy, steroid lotions and creams. When nothing helped my feet he sent me to a rheumatologist who started me on a combo of gabapentin and Dulexotine. It helped immensely. However my blood work didn't show any inflammatory markers and after 2 years I'm having memory loss due to gabapentin and studies show it is linked to dementia. I'm really looking for help! Went to a new podiatrist and started from scratch. The injections didn't work so now I'm going to a neurologist to see if there are any pinched nerves.
