Colostomy reversal: What can I expect? Recovery time?
In a few month, I’ll be having a colostomy reversal. By the time the surgery rolls around, I will have had the Ostomy for 6 months. What can I expect ? Will the recovery be another 12 weeks?

@jackson58, have you had your appointment with your doctor to find out if a reversal is possible?
I have had my colostomy for 3 months now just started chemo and at the kemo place they said after my 4th session they would can't wait you should thank the lord
I have had my colostomy going on 3 months I had what they called a applecore cancer that was blocking my bowls.
I started chemo last month I have to bring home the pump.
And at the chemo place they told me usually after 4 sessions they reverse it .
So I messaged my Doc. And his assistant said I have to wait until the end of May then another 3 months then scans to make sure everything is good before they consider.
CONSIDER no they are gonna reverse this thing
What no way
That is uncool. noway I'm putting up with this thing for 1 year I can't imagine
I'm waiting patiently it's been 3 months they said I gotta wait until the chemo is done
