I can’t tell you all how reassuring this PMR site has been. I appreciate hearing your progress and your attempts to manage this condition. Another thing we all need to remember is that prednisone affects the bones and I have developed prednisone induced osteoporosis ( yes it’s possible) so I am motivated to get off of it. And I am researching the Prolia and other options to help. I am anxious to start Actemra after reading comments in this broadcast. And Actemra may also help with bone deterioration according to my research. Thank you. I’ll let you all know my progress.
My PMR started 48 hours after I received the first “required” shot of the Covid 19 w MRNA. So yes in my case. And I know of many other people who have reacted the same with variations of the auto immune conditions. One of my sons had the same circumstance. The other who did not get vaccine is fine even though he got Covid 19. Half my family got the shot half didn’t. The half that didn’t are fine. The other half. Questionable still. I may never get another vaccine. For sure not one that has MRNA in it. 😷
