@daisy17. Whew. I'm relieved to know that you have an appointment with your doctor coming up soon. As others have suggested please do ask your doctor to follow up with an endometrial biopsy as she had suggested to you. It's good that the biopsy has been offered with anesthesia too. I agree with our other members who have said spotting or vaginal bleeding is not normal after menopause and should be examined carefully. I don't want to unnecessarily frighten you but spotting can be a first symptom of endometrial cancer. Have you been thinking about that and mentioned this to your doctor?

Yes, I will talk to my Dr about this. My recent ultrasound was normal with the endometrial stripe at 3. I had light spotting twice before. Once I had an in-office biopsy, normal. Second time I had a D&C, normal. I don't want to have to worry about this so would like a biopsy for peace of mind. Thanks for your concern.
