I've been on ADT for 11 months now and have found that my emotions are extremely sensitive the longer I'm on ADT. I can cry at the drop of a hat (TV commercials, movies, or talking with someone about sensitive issues) at least once or twice a day. I try to control it when others are around by stopping the conversation or apologizing for it. I understand the cause to be that the ADT is taking away my T which makes me more emotional. Hey, it is what it is - not sure there is a cure or medication to address it.

There are drugs that can affect this. Mood drugs like Xanax and Wellbutrin are a couple of drugs people have mentioned, taking in order to manage mood issues. This is something you need to speak to a doctor about, Find out what will work for you.

Even though I was on the drugs for eight years, I never had any mood issues. I sure have heard a lot of other people that have had them though.

Thank you! I have been on ADT for 9 months and I've had the same reaction. Some days I'm fine and other days I'm on the verge of tears throughout the day. Sometimes it's embarrassing, like when I'm in church and a hymn will hit me really hard or like yesterday and I was on Zoom with my family, and I started to cry for no reason. The only way for me to control it is for me to say stop and think of something that isn't emotionally charged.
