Do you know what kind of endometrial cancer you were diagnosed with? That should be in your pathology report. Here is a description of the different kinds of endometrial cancer.

I was diagnosed with endometroid adenocarcinoma, FIGO Grade 1 in late July, 2019, saw the gynecological oncologist a week later and had my hysterectomy one week after that. I realize that my surgery happened much faster than many others report here on Mayo Clinic. I think a 4 month wait is way too long for cancer treatment. In your place I would want another opinion and try to get surgery moved up much closer in time.

When do you think you will call and arrange for a second opinion?
