"Denosumab for osteoporosis treatment: when, how, for whom, and for how long. A pragmatical approach"
The common name for Denosumab is Prolia. Many members have shared their experiences with Prolia, both good and bad. Using the search function in the Osteoporosis support group can help find a lot of relevant discussions:
I typically filter by discussions and then search for discussions that have been recently active.
@dyana, if you are comfortable sharing, are you currently taking Prolia or has it been prescribed to you? Do you have any specific questions or concerns?
I'm not on any medication at this time. Prolia was recommended by one of my doctors; Fosomax by another. I've been on the line (on both sides) between osteopenia and osteoporosis for 15 years, but am just starting to take it seriously. Working my way along the learning curve and glad I found this forum.
