Is anyone else talking Wegovy for heart disease?

Although I'm overweight, it was the positive effects on heart disease and death that attracted me (I have heart disease). First shot yesterday. Mild nausea today. Saved half of breakfast to eat later. Am concerned about nausea, although I knew it was a side effect. Would like tips on combating it.

I have been doing the shot since June at my own expense because my Cardiologist recommended it due to the fact I cannot exercise very much because of SCAD, FMD and Vasile Spasms. I also take Repatha for hereditary high Chlorestoral. I have lost 40 pounds since I started and survived my 5th heart attack/ SCAD event. So it is not stopping them, but at least I am surviving them so far. I would highly recommend these drugs, if you are in a similar situation. Best of luck!

For me the nausea never went away and I declared to a friend that the reason you lose weight on it is because of the nausea. I also had stomach pain. I could start again since it is a new year insurance wise but decided not to because of the nausea. I hope your nausea goes away.
