I just had my first injection of Evenity three days ago and I have been experiencing burning and tingling sensation on both leg below my knees. It’s not painful but is very uncomfortable.

Hi @kff16, I'm sorry to hear about the burning and tingling. injections. I would love to know how you're doing now, and certainly hope the discomfort you were experiencing went away.

I never had the injection site burning like it again. That had to be the nurse's technique. I also never had it in the legs. That would definitely be uncomfortable. I did however have tingling in the ankles and feet which I found concerning. It can happen in the hands and feet with Evenity treatment, but I, personally haven't heard of it happeing in the legs. As it turns out, the tingling I was experiencing in the ankles was likely caused by high levels of B12. I had blood tests, and that was off the charts. I stopped taking B12 supplements, and the tingling went away.

All of that is to say that it's possible that Evenity caused your tingling and burning issue. It's also possible there was another cause. It can be difficult to isolate the source of the problem. I was fortunate that my doctor did the blood tests, and that the likely cause, elevated B12 level, was quickly identified.

I look forward to hearing how you're doing now.

Best,
