Thank you so much for answering, Celia. Sorry to hear that you have it in a similar way. I had my vitamin B12 checked. Not yet B6. Maybe I should have that checked out!

One suggestion would be to keep a food, drink, supplement diary and see if anything corresponds to pins and needles days.

I have a rare hereditary neuropathy and have had lots of pins and needles throughout my life. I have noticed certain meds and supplements really trigger it.

My B12 level is normal, but has been low at times. A few years ago my neurologist suggested some supplements just for good health. One sublingual tab of B12/B6 gave me such strong pins and needles within 20 minutes and they lasted 2 weeks! Next I tried one CoQ10 pill and I had them for about 24 hours. Then I tried tumeric and had P&N for about 24 hours. Multivitamins can cause them too which is probably why I had P&N for months at a time before I made the connection and stopped the supplements. Certain prescription meds do it to me too. So I pay close attention when I try anything new.

I don’t drink alcohol or caffeine but those could also have an impact. It’s worth considering.

Did you take any new meds or supplements with your mono since that’s when it seemed to start?

I hope you can figure it out.
