Wow I am sitting here wanting everyone to SURVIVE but unfortunately that won’t happen. I do feel that we all in an era where technology in medicines, treatments, research etc. etc, has made it possible to live long and strong. Long time ago (15-25) years or more stage 4 was like you be gone over night. I loss my father to cancer his cancer was growing on the inside of his kidney he passed away in 2005. He didn’t have any options like we have today and I always think of him when that survivor’s guilt kicks in, his heart and his spirit was just unbelievable to see him go through that and be so HUMBLE about it. He use to say to me it will be a cure one day you will see. When I’m in a emotional survival guilt mood I can hear him say Connie wasn’t people dying from Cancer before you got it and my answer would be yes and he would say okay then don’t you know that same will happen and it won’t stop because you got it now either. But I pray and Thank God for this life I live, doctors, researchers, technologists, it’s a list that can go on and on. God given talents to do what they do every day. That’s WHY I say there’s always something to be Thankful and Grateful for Coleen!!!
