@joam, I'm tagging some members who have experiences with pancreas and gallbladder issues to see if any of them may have had similar symptoms even a year out from gallbladder removal, from something related to their pancreas or something else @yvonnecappe @grannydee @shezza51 @celia16 @creondave @staceywood @pianist3.
Hoping some of these members will have thoughts for you, @clkurth, as you look for the best foods to eat (or avoid or modify), in addition to dealing with tiredness a week out from your emergency gallbladder surgery. What foods have you been able to eat successfully thus far after surgery, clkurth?
An endocrinologist consult is in order. Neurogenic tumors need to be ruled out.
I am one week out from emergency gall bladder removal and acute severe pancreatitis. Still a bit tender and swollen from the procedure. Belching and a good amount of flatulence. I can still feel the familiar sensation of the inflamed pancreas, but more modest. I am hopeful this will subside. Trying to determine what foods I can have and which ones to avoid or modify. I’m still also pretty tired. This was a whopper of a surgery. Life changing, I’m guessing. I hope your condition improves as well.
