My doctor os going to try a lumbar sympathetic nerve block on my next appointment. I have a DRG stimulator, a Nalu stimulator and have been on tramadol for 5 years and also gabapentin. We recently tried a pain med called nucynta. I had heart issues right away...fast pulse, etc. I quit taking it after 48 yrs. I am going to try the Mayo Chronic Pain program in Sept for 16 days. It changes the way your brain receives the pain signals. I hope it works!
