been on methotrexate 6 wks 4 ra. gives me diarrhea day one, and lil day 2, scared of possibility of lymphoma, which it can cause. any suggestions for side effects? does it matter when take or if eat with it? do the side effects go away or lessen with time?

Are you taking folic acid with methotrexate, which is recommended?

Hi. Sorry to hear you're having these side effects. Hopefully, your doctor told you to take folic acid to combat the side effects of methotrexate. If they didn't, tell them your issues and ask how much you should take. Aside from that, there are many medications that have side effects that lessen with usage. I don't know if this applies to methotrexate.
