I have been on an estrogen blocker for breast cancer for years. Lately my anxiety has been through the roof as have my migraines. My oncologist & neurologist day it’s not the meds but it seems to me the lack of estrogen can do both. I want to try Zoloft but I am afraid of the side effects. Any thoughts ?

Hi
I believe 100%.The hirmone blockers are causing your issues. I would talk to your g p. This is the third antidepressant.I have tried. I can tell you it does increase your anxiety in the beginning. I am on week four and i'm starting to feel like myself. I just saw my oncologist and he said to me.Women that have hormone positive breast cancer.Have the hardest time mentally that need hormones. So a anti depressant is the best thing to do. Hope this helps. I belong
to a breast cancer zoom group and all the girls on hormone blockers are taking an anti depressant.
