Depends on who does it. I had one done and the NCS was terrible and the EMG was easy. The one I had last month the NCS was fine, but the EMG left me with some soreness and bruising. Get it done its not that bad and give your doctor valuable info to treat you. It takes weeks/months to get the one I had done at Duke so do it as quickly as you can
