@bad1
I wonder if you're experiencing a focal awareness seizure known as Jacksonian March.
I agree with @thomhorowitz regarding extended release Keppra. The extended release formulation of medications often stop or decrease side effects. After 45 years of uncontrolled seizures my new neurologist only prescribed extended release meds to seizure patients that were controlled after I started taking the extended release version.
Have you had EEG?
Although EEG's pick can record abnormal electrical activity, it depends on the length of seizure, placement of electrodes in relationship to where the seizure activity is. Approximately 50% of people with regular seizures have normal EEGs.
Are you experiencing any side effects?
Take care,
Jake

Jake,
From what I have read they are focal seizures. I am currently waiting to see a neurologist. The medicine just makes me feel funny. I have numbness in my face and headaches from the tumor so not sure if the keppra is helping or making that worse.
Thank you for your comments. I will ask these questions when I see my doctor again.

Thanks!
Bridgette

Hello. I take the med Keppra and have been feeling like my nose and face is sitting on ice. (Very uncomfortable) I was experiencing black outs but I still could hear everything going on around me when I black out. Now I'm experiencing buzzing in my right ear(so annoying) Is anyone else experiencing this? Surgery for removal is not until June.. I'm patiently waiting.
