I love Doug Lucas to. I follow Dr. Lisa Moore on Brickhouse bones Facebook group and YouTube videos for exercises. If you have never exercised before she has foundations for beginners.
I can only comment on my experience with PT after two vertabre fractures. I went straight to PT to strengthen back muscles. In this course, I got two more hairline fractures. Had Kyphoplasty on the last two but first two had healed according to xrays. My spine Dr told me there was a fine line in PT of how much can do more harm than good in some cases. So, he began with a few stretches at home and suggested he may want me to do water therapy.
My spine score is -2.9 and don't know yours but I am now on Tymlos for the last 15 days, working my way up on the dosage. As gently mentioned, I would not be doing any lifting over 5 lbs which isn't much. I am still in pain after the healing so not doing anything is easy for me to remember what not to do. Don't rush for it takes time.
