And it's hard when you only have 15 minutes to elaborate and most of those minutes the doctor is looking at his computer plugging in what you are saying. I love it when they bill the insurance company 30 minutes for the visit and I barely got 15.

I had to drive 35 mins yesterday to see my cardiologist. He spent less than 5 min w me. I have Marfan Syndrome which is a connective tissue disorder. I've had 2 open heart surgeries and I'm 55.
I have an abnormal EKG
and sub clavian dissection and abdominal aortic aneurysm. He ordered no echo or EKG. Which I was having at least once per year. Now I haven't had an echo in 2 years and EKG over a year ago.

I feel your pain. I keep everything written down on a sheet of paper. My meds, my conditions and my surgeries and my allergies are all on one piece of paper. I just hand it to the doctor and let them figure it out.

I hate it when they dismiss you. But I don't mind trying to find a new doctor anyway. I'd like to have a doctor that listens.
