When I experienced the high calcium, my endo stopped the treatment.
Besides the extreme fatigue I was also experiencing racing heart and chest pain after each injection from day one.
Had a stress test with my cardiologist who cleared me to continue taking the med, but once my calcium was found to be so high, I was taken off.
My endo never recommended every other day injections or anything, she just stopped the meds.
In my opinion treatment for osteoporosis has to be personalized, as we are all so different. What works for one may not work the same for another.
It’s a tough journey to say the least.
