Yes, I was sedated for the procedure and did the same prep as you would for a colonoscopy. The doctor was a Gastroenterologist trained in Advanced Endoscopy. The results were noticed the very next day. The only other option was open abdominal surgery to remove the area with stricture and then resection. Laparascopic surgery not an option as I have mesh after hernia repair.
