Where to donate like-new Costco hearing aid

My husband didn't like it and we couldn't return it. Any ideas?

Also check your local organizations, like the Lions club and VA. Our library collects used glasses, for example. You might have a hearing organization locally which I prefer. Our Lighthouse for the Blind in my area also takes hearing aids. I’m a big donator to the VA.

Which hearing aide did your husband get from Costco? Just curious as I got hearing aides from Costco recently. I got the over the ears device. Still adjusting to them & do hear better but clarity isn’t always good so far.

I have costly hearing aids from Oticon and Signia. None worked all that well, so when Apple came out with their Airpods Pro 2, FDA approved as over the counter hearing aids for less than $200, I had to try them. Now I use them exclusively and will probably donate my expensive hearing aids. Might not work for everyone, but they work for me. There is a bit of a learning curve involved as you tune them to your personal audiogram and size them to fit your ear canal.

Jabra. We went back for a number of adjustments and it didn't help. Then, I read either here or in the Dementia Caregivers group, that sometimes, Costco hearing aids don't work for people with dementia, but Phonak do. We purchased it and he can hear.

Only one hearing aid. Going to donate to Hearing Loss Assn of America. Perhaps you could contact them for guidance and assistance. Good luck.
