I am 70 and I have issues with my lumbar, and needed injections. My Dr only gives them 4 months apart. My last injection was 5 months ago in SI joint and 10 months in lumbar. I have been doing PT and it helps. I don't think any one can say if the injections make it worse or not. I had 2 different Dr tell me it stays in the place injected, and it is better to get the injection so you can do all the exercises and strength building to fight OP.
