I had REZUM and had no benefit. I decided I wanted HoLEP, but my urologist just did TURP and REZUM. I found a Urologist who does HoLEP and on the first appointment he said He wouldn't have guessed I had had REZUM if I hadn't told him. I had the HoLEP two weeks ago and the improvements are starting to appear. The stream is stronger and contains more volume. The Overactive Bladder is slowly going away. Blood and small clots appeared in the urine for about a week and are now gone. I'm happy and look forward to continuing improvements.

My surgery was in the mid afternoon. And before five in the morning, the next day, my catheter was being removed, and I was able to go on my own.
Immediately after discharging from the hospital, I stated a nearby motel and took ibuprofen for a week then flew back home. Everything has been normal ever since. The only thing I experience was uncomfortable stinging when I went to the bathroom as the days and weeks went on it was less and less until it just went away. Currently I just have a numbness that comes and goes, but that’s it. No side effects as with most patients.

I am glad for you! Any noticeable changes in potency or RE, or maybe too early to tell?
