I had COVID 2 years ago and it's still with me too. The ENT said it would take a long time to get over but I think it is here to stay. Must be permanent damage but I wonder if it is damage to lungs or sinuses or throat or what.

In my case I believe it is my sinuses & post nasal drip collecting in my throat & coating my vocal chords. My lungs are clear. What I've taken that has helped the most:

Trelegy oral inhaler, Xhance (special fluticasone inhaler) & albuterol

I don't think I have allergies that caused this, but it does worsen with allergy seasons. I am pretty sure this is Long Covid stuff! I still wake up choking in the night & have to go cough/spit out the mucous & use my albuterol.

I had covid 3 yrs ago with copious mucus in nose and dripping down throat. It has finally lessened. No ENT doc could help. I do nasal saline rinse twice a day to clear as much as possible. Waking up and coughing less at night. Slowly resolving. Finally. One doctor admitted they just don’t know what to do with post covid conditions. We’re on our own until research finds solutions. But current govt has cut back medical research unfortunately for us and millions with more severe afflictions.
