Thank you for sharing that. I am 3 months out and my surgeon told me the same thing but I have been avoiding nuts, popcorn and seeds out of fear. Like you, I have been avoiding them for so long now.
I do still have occasional pain on my left side near the incision that worries me a little. Some days it’s worse than others. Did you or did anyone else have this issue after their resection surgery? I’m just wondering how long does the healing process take. I am definitely better than I was before surgery!

My first nut was not until 8mths! I had 2 almonds. LOL But, I still do not eat a lot of them. Some sunflower seeds, sliced almonds in my granola I put in yogurt.
I still sill does not eat much of them.

I had more discomfort than pain. You should check with the Dr. on the pain.
Are you able to exercise and stretch? I also, swim that had help too.
I have an infrared dry sauna, and it help tremendously with relaxing and mental.
