I would suggest a hospital bed. My doctor prescribed one for me because of back pain. It's chronic - it started in 1986, got serious in 2008, back surgery then good for a while, in 2018 it got serious again. It is nice to be able to adjust to "just right" and leave it there, even though "just right" doesn't last all night. I am told I adjust the bed while asleep. I think I am just half asleep. It will help you to adjust as needed when you're trying to sleep. My insurance covers it, so hopefully money isn't an obstacle for you. I feel for you. I had that problem too once.

Hi. As I mentioned, I do have an adjustable bed. For years it worked to relieve back pain when I’d adjust the head and foot. It’s no longer helping, even with a new mattress.
