My surgeon said the same thing about my back pain causing my knee pain. So I had an epidural. it helped my back but not my knee. Bottom line- your back isn't the problem. I then had a revision to scrape scar tissue. Helped a great deal.

can you please tell me how your knee felt before and after the revision to scrape scar tissue? can you also tell me how the procedure went and how long you were out of commission? thank you so much for any help, I had TKR Oct 2023 and still have pain swelling tightness and they are recommending the revision to scrape scar tissue but I am nervous about doing that
Thank you for your comments, now I am just getting angry, you would think they would know what needs to be done.
Other doctors don't like to work on a previous surgeon work, they say it all look great, then why are we still in pain? They can not answer our question. So you are left wondering needs to be done next. Sorry it just upset me they just say well you need another surgery. Not right at all.
