Hi there my husband starts his therapy on Monday coming next week . The drugs are being delivered this afternoon and he will take his first Cape pills in the morning of monday and then we go to the hospital for the Gem. I will most certainly post when we have a little experience under "our belts" . The anxiety builds as to what his reaction will entail .

Jadees I was ready to take Gem IV since I had trouble with Cape pills but was on antibiotics for several months and couldn't take any chemo so let me know how you do with it.
I am leaving Florida soon heading back to Pittsburgh for more testing and hopefully a genetic tissue test to see what treatment I can tolerate since I have severe CAD and over 70 but otherwise healthy.

If he has to take 6 pills a day, he could get neuropathy. I got it in my hands. I also had RA, and the Cape did help with that. The oncologist told me to get lotion that had 20% urea, but it didn’t help at all.
