D-Mannoose and UTI prevention

It definitely is a lack of estrogen. 30 yrs no Uti's then suddenly 3 in a row. I am taking powdered Mannose D, but would switch to pill when traveling.

I bought on Amazon the brand ,Pure D-Mannose, from the co. Solution Specific Supplements. I believe you are supposed to avoid acidic foods bc they block the effectiveness of the D-Mannose. Now that I cleared up the UTI's and got on a suppository estrogen, I am only taking a scoop at night. It was like the estrogen creams were causing or facilitating the UTI's . The suppository in combination with the D-Mannose stopped the UTI's. It was getting annoying; nitrofuritin couldn't clear the infection.

I do think I had a low grade UTI for years, bc now that UTI's don't reoccur, I no longer have incontinence. I still have stress incontinence but not the worse kind that comes with a UTI. Just thought I wasn't aging well. Ha, ha.

Interesting about incontinence being a part of the bladder pain. That's happening with me too, but my urine never shows any infection.
