@jml2025 Thank you for your kind message. It was uplifting. Especially your comments about your brother having Stage 4 cancer and now being in remission. I hope it never comes back in him. This will be my 3rd cancer in 4 years and they tell me none were a metastasis, that each one was independent of the others. I thank you also for your comment about Faith. I've believed in God and every word in the bible my whole life. I'm 65 now, and the doubts started about the same time as my 1st cancer. I see other Christians who seem to have no fear of death. They seem to be certain of life after death and they will be in Heaven. Most of the time I believe that too, but when the worry sets in I feel like my Faith is gone or I wouldn't worry. I think that's what you were referring to. I try hard to push the worry aside and pray to the Lord and meditate on His word. That works for awhile, but the fear and worry ultimately comes back. I think you're right about us being human and mortal and fearing death. Thank you
and I will keep posting through this.
Jeff.

I was watching an interview with Alex Trebek, long time host of a game show, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer stage 3, a very daunting prognosis to say the least…he was so calm and very positive, he said that he wasn’t afraid of dying because he knew that his life wasn’t over, he had a strong conviction that he was going somewhere else after he leaves here. I could see that he felt very strongly about his journey and I was so impressed by his strong faith in his belief. I was very moved by what he said and I truly enjoyed listening to him speak. I really wished that I could be like him and live without the fears I have.
