Is it possible to have PN with really good reflexes?

I've been diagnosed with PN for a few years and saw a new doctor today. He could barely believe I have pn with such good reflexes! He was sort of shocked but I told him I'm a weird one. I mean I had the needles with shocks and all. So, not really understanding his surprise. Any thoughts?? Oh and my pn is idiopathic.

I have zero reflexes when tapped on knees and elbows, but I think there are differences in reactions with different types of neuropathies.

I have SFN and my reflexes are great. Balance is getting much worse as is pain but reflexes remain good

I have slighly weaker DTR in left leg but still have it. I don't have pain...only numbness. Just tried acupuncture for my legs and I have to say got good results for my feet in particular...more feeling and steadiness. Not inexpensive but will try to do weekly. good luck..it is a real challenge.
