Had the appt with oncologist April 1. He gave us a glimmer of hope. Because my type of cancer is rare and stage 3 he is figuring out which treatment to try. But at least he'd try a treatment. He's waiting for me to heal from surgery and will do labs and CT end of April. He's consulted with 2 Oncologists at Mayo and some others tomorrow. He is well respected and skilled. I have confidence in him. I did reach out to MD Anderson only because I'm wondering if their center might have a potentially successful treatment not offered here.
