High Vitamin B6: How can I lower it?
I have a high Vitamin B6 level but have never taken vitamin supplements. Has anyone had this happen to them. I have no idea how to lower it.

I would have your closest university extension office test the food or the tin
Or environmental dept at state level
Someone needs to know what is the culprit
What is normal b6
Dr don’t really share that info
Hi @cs26. Unfortunately, while fish can be very healthy sources of protein, omega-3 fatty acids and other nutrients, they can also contain high amounts of mercury. I know where I live, we’re cautioned not to eat over a certain amount of fish weekly that have been caught locally, due to mercury contamination.
I found a couple of articles for you online with general guidelines on which fish contain the most mercury.

Looks like the Mackerel might be the culprit?

I hope things worked out and you are feeling better by this time.
I am in the same situation having B6 at 40. (range 2 - 20) I do not take any multivitamins, b complex or others. I am not sure what caused this. I have added a lot of fruits and veggies for last few months for fiber rich diet, but I do not know if the fruits like bananas caused it to double the level. Unfortunately, this is the first time I tested for B6, so I do not have any past data to compare.
I am having headaches, insomnia and anxiety these days, because of which I asked the doctor and she ran the entire B panel this time. Other B vitamins looks normal range.
What did you do to manage or resolve the condition?
