FTD. For last year had wild cravings for sugar also (preferably baked). Gained 40 lbs in a year. I don't eat much otherwise. The craving for sugar seems to be letting up. Still not eating much regular food. Checked my thyroid. Haven't in 4 months lost a single pound. Which do I want more... Weight loss or brain gain. LOL

My 70 years old wife was put in hospice , home care, 3 years ago because she stopped eating. I figured out that she would eat certain candy bars which she has been surviving on ever since. The problem is she has had 27 cavities and 2 crowns in the past two years. Now she is refusing dental care. I just put her in a dementia care unit because I have surgery scheduled for my self in 10 days and I don't feel I can take care of my self and care for her. She is not taking it very well and neither am I. She wants to come home and I feel terrible. She is in otherwise very good health. She will carry a conversation even thou it makes no sense. What am I going to do?
