Good question! It's amazing how small moments can take on special meaning.

My wife and I will sometimes have a nice meal at home (nothing spectacular; we're hardly gourmets), share a bottle of decent wine, and chat for an hour or so, just the two of us.

I will often get sentimental, especially when I think how much I almost lost when I had the stroke. But it makes me appreciate how lucky I am to be sitting across the table from my best friend, the love of my life, and the woman of my dreams.

It's fun to be alive and have moments like that.
