Hi Bonnie, I’m sorry, but I don’t know what a two level surgery is! I’m coming up on two years from my surgery. I had restrictions for the first month & that was it, pt after that. Last year, I could easily garden. You have to remember, my nerves were damaged & I have two rods with eight screws that limit some neck movement. The funny part is, no pain before and really not too much after. I live in Maine, so I was lucky enough to have my surgery at Brigham & Womens/ Mass General. I had a year for my nerves to recover, so now I just keep going. Plan to garden even more this year! It probably was easier for me because I didn’t have any choices. I do think a neurosurgeon is the way to go. You have time to think. Any questions I can answer, feel free. By the way, I’ve heard that lumbar surgery is a lot harder!
