Finding out that most local pharmacy's do not carry the pens nor do they want to order it due to cost per pen, anyone else having this difficulty ?

Munday, bet we all wish we had your plan. Medicare plans do vary by state as do secondary health plans, the largest secondary health plan out there is United Health AARP, as far as I know they do not get involved with any actual medication coverage. As for Medicare prescription plans, you get what you pay for. Currently WellCare Value Script is $0 per month premium but then their formulary is smaller, some Medicare prescription plans cost in the $100's of dollars a month, but then again, they may cover a wider range of medications. as they say, pay now or pay later, I guess.

I have AARP United RX for part D. I paid for the first 2 pens, until the $2000 was reached. Zero copay for all meds ever since

Yes i had to end up using a mail order pharmacy which i hate. One local pharmacy said they don't make enough money on supplying tymlos to customers.

FWIW I have Humana Medicare Advantage, and they provided the Tymlos from their own pharmacy, Centerwell. Centerwell is really easy to deal with IMO, and I believe you do not have to be a Humana member to use them. Centerwell.com

I use Optum specialty pharmacy which my dr ordered my Tymlos from. It has been easy for me. It gets delivered to my door.
