@lluth412 orthopedic doctor may have helped you, but a neurologist is a better fit for neurology diagnosis. Often inflammed nerve or pinched nerve causes pain. Then a steroid injection is appropriate. At my hospital we specialize in neurological conditions. We had one orthopedic doctor that no longer works with our team. Our neurologist are providing excellent care. I would not suggest orthopedic doctor for a neurological condition. Orthopedic doctors are amazing for total hip arthroplasty, total knee arthroplasty, arthritis, total shoulder arthroplasty, sport injuries, broken bones, ligaments, dislocations and so on. Trauma.
