My appointment was Friday and I am very pleased! He prescribed Intrarosa 6.5 mg vaginal insert and it arrived yesterday, so you know I started on it last night! He also prescribed an Estrogen vaginal patch but my Rx program is mail order and it won't arrive until the middle of the week. I was very impressed with him. He's been a GYN/OB for 40 years and no longer delivers and instead has switched his interest to Menopausal Women and our needs. He attends conferences, is a member of numerous organizations regarding women, menopause and aging and seems very knowledgeable and understanding. I feel he's the answer to my prayers.

Well this sounds very promising.
So glad you were able to find a doctor that heard you and would help.
After finding a new gynecologist myself , who’s been focusing on menopausal symptoms and hormones, I’ve started on an estradiol patch, micronized progesterone and vagifem, an estrogen vaginal insert. It’s been about 6 weeks- a couple weeks ago I started to experience breast tenderness and some vaginal discharge. In the past few days I’ve noticed some heart palpitations. I’m hoping that as my body gets used to the hormones these side affects will diminish.
Let me know if you experience anything similar.
Best of luck!

Please let me know how you get on with the Intrarosa. I’ve been on the vaginal ring for years (estring) for a few years, 63 now but still have the vaginal itching from time to time which can last for weeks. My gyno suggested trying the Intrarosa but I’m loathe to try yet another new product.
