Hello, I’m glad you successfully completed your treatments.
I had surgery 3 years ago for melanoma. At that time there were small nodules which none of the doctors questioned, saying that anyone who was a smoker had them. I had PET scans frequently following surgery, now CT scans. There are several nodules the oncologist has been watching, 1 being 11 cm. She has decided I need a biopsy. What I’m petrified of is that I have severe COPD and was told that makes a biopsy much more serious and prone to possible serious complications. Has anyone had a biopsy who has COPD and what was your experience? I’m very scared about the procedure.

I am having a biopsy Tuesday I am a smoker with COPD I heard it was more serious and could cause complications also I am scared to I try to think of how many biopsies they do to someone who has COPD That helps somewhat I will let you know how mine goes Good luck..Brenda
