bella13, others have had trouble with VA insurance. I think it has to be approved by VA first. But I may be way off. You and your daughter do need help. It seems like the rude person on the phone would have told you it was the insurance, but maybe didn't know. I'd keep calling from the numbers Colleen sent. At some point you'll get a different receptionist on the phone.

Yes, it had nothing to do with the insurance. I even got a letter from the Infectious Disease team stating there is nothing more they could do for me has nothing to do with Insurance but I will call them Monday asking why they denied me when they’re the ones who called me due to a referral after obtaining my x-rays they denied me.

As a disabled veteran I can tell you that you are correct. I have to use Community Care since I live 100 miles from my main VA hospital and every time I want to see a non VA doctor I have to go through Community Care and they find a VA participating doctor and help me set up an appointment. It usually is within 1 week that appointment is made.
