What seems to be the magic LDL number requiring Repatha?

If I am tolerating statins should I just remain on them?

According to my cardiologist, Repatha is indicated when 1 - LDL is above 80 AND 2 - (one is on a medium to high dose of statin OR LDL is above 80 and one has failed 2 or more different statins) AND 3 - (one has had a CV event OR is at high risk for a CV event OR has a diagnosed blockage)
It is a pricy drug and not without side effects. I would not be taking it if I could use anything else.
