Internal Vibrations-Small Fiber Neuropathy

Posted by CaliGirl1 @jyoung1963, 3 days ago

I have been diagnosed with Small Fiber Neuropathy 4 years ago. I now have internal vibrations that are getting worse over time. Does anyone else have internal vibrations and does anyone have any suggestions on how to relieve this symptom? All comments and suggestions welcome. Thank you.

Be careful taking any supplements, ask your neurologist first. I had been taking some but my new neurologist told me to stop saying that it's a waste of money. I am on Nortripyline for 8 months and now I have a minimum deficit, no pain just some numbness in my toes and fingers.

My neurologist actually supported me taking alpha Lipoic acid, Acetyl l carnitine and magnesium supplements for small fiber neuropathy. They helped me better than any prescription medication. I did take Cymbalta/duloxetine for a while for nerve pain, osteoarthritis and depression due to chronic pain and it helped for a while but stopped.

When my neurologist put me on muscle relaxers and amitriptyline, I needed to stop soon after because the side effects were intolerable.
