@scottrl, thanks for sharing your story, You hit on a lot of important points. Many of us find ourselves here as a result of unexpected circumstances and now living a life we'd not chosen or anticipated yet here we are, leaning on each other to try to find ways to make the most of our "new normal". You've provided a lot of inspiration in order to achieve that.

And yes, those of us fortunate enough to have a loving spouse or partner by our sides are doubly blessed - my husband and I enjoyed our 48th wedding anniversary last month and are looking forward to a special celebration for our Golden!
