Very sadly, Mitchell passed away on Oct. 9, 2024, from a very rare form of metastasized melanoma.

The first symptom that anything was wrong was on Aug. 18th, by which time he had six tumors in his brain and cancer in his liver. It was too late.

Mitchell had completely clear CT scans in May 2024 at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL, so this was a shock.

I do not have words for how much I loved him and miss him.

@birdman518, I'm sorry to hear of the passing of Mitchell. Thank you for letting us know Lauren.

I can imagine that you miss him. Please know that he was an asset to this forum. He asked questions and share experiences that helped many.
