I have checked my research. Dr McCormick says that if your s ores ate - 4 or - 4.1 or - 4.2 you should have an anabolic, which build bones, as anti resorption drugs are not good enough. He says it's like plastering density onto a poor foundation.
Also can you get a TBS, which is a Trabecular score, as with smaller women, the Bone Density can look worse.
He says we must fast before a DEXA scan and have it as early as possible, to get the most accurate reading. I was never told that. X

I just received my DEXA, I have a Wards number of -2.9. But under total after listed all L1 to L4 it states -2.1. So, then it specifies I have osteopenia, so is that what we look at the total score? My first dexa didn't have this breakdown it only showed-2.8 and stated I had osteoporosis.

You do have to fast for a CTX as well as stop supplementation on biotin. In addition no strenuous exercise before that test. I haven't heard anything about doing that before a Dexa. A Dexa is an X-ray while a CTX is a blood test
