Hi it took me a very long time 10 11 months due to symptoms issues. You are amazing and patient as my husband has been for me.
He will get there continue with patients and gentle encouragement inviting him to assist if he is able to slow and steady wins the race . God bless you both

Thank you for your input. He hasn't indicated a desire to try it. However, I'll continue to do it as long as I'm able. 15 to 20 minutes for the pouch change and just a few minutes for the other stoma , mucas fistula on his left side which only requires gauze and tape. Good luck in this continuing journey.
